The Florida Everglades tomato plant usually grows to about 2 to 4 feet tall and has small, narrow leaves. The fruits are tiny, about the size of a currant or blueberry. They ripen from green to red or yellow having a rich, tangy flavor.
These tomatoes thrive in warm, humid climates and prefer well-drained soil. They prefer full sun for optimal fruit production, but tolerate partial shade. Everglades tomatoes are often grown as perennials in frost-free zones but can be grown as annuals in colder climates. They appreciate regular watering, especially during dry periods, and benefits from occasional fertilization. They are relatively low-maintenance plants and are resistant to many common tomato pests and diseases.

Shipping from our nursery to you:
We ship on Monday & Tuesdays according to climatic conditions to ensure your plants arrive in a timely manner for proper care, without unnecessary time spent in their dark box.
Where we cannot ship to:
At this time we are not able to fulfill orders outside of the U.S. due to agriculture regulations.
We also do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska because of their distance from our nursery and the sensitive nature of the plants we ship.

Plant looks so healthy and already has tomatoes and flowers on it! Shipping was excellent and they came in still with the soil wet.
