Tree Mexican Sunflower (tithonia diversifolia)
Mexican sunflower has bright yellow, 2-4 inch flowers. It is also excellent butterfly plant. The blooms are over a very long season, and the plants produce masses of blooms. The large 5 ft or more plants are fairly easy to maintain. This plant grows fast creating a lot of biomass in the process, making this a great chop and drop plant.
Sunlight:
Plant Mexican Sunflowers in full sunlight. They thrive in bright, sunny conditions and require at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Soil:
Use well-draining soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Mexican Sunflowers are adaptable to various soil types but prefer soil that is not overly compacted.

We ship on Monday & Tuesdays according to climatic conditions to ensure your plants arrive in a timely manner for proper care, without unnecessary time spent in their dark box.
Where we cannot ship to:
At this time we are not able to fulfill orders outside of the U.S. due to agriculture regulations.
We also do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska because of their distance from our nursery and the sensitive nature of the plants we ship.
