Cherry of the Rio Grand (Eugenia involucrata)
Cherryof the Rio Grand is a 1 to 2 inch, dark purple/red fruit with a sweet cherry flavor. Looks similar to surinam cherry, but is a bit larger. Grows to 10-25ft and possible to be container grown. Trees are hardy and can survive to 20F when it is fully grown.

Soil:
